Meet Our Team
Our staff are highly qualified with years of relevant experience to match and it is this combined with industry specific knowledge that makes them such capable trainers.
They have been selected not only for their qualifications and experience but also for their ethos, attention to detail and professionalism.
After a civil engineering degree and short time as a site engineer for a large national civil engineering contractor Alistair returned to his native Northumberland to work in the outdoors. He began his outdoor training career with a management development company before becoming a freelance instructor and then finally managing a small outdoor centre.
Alistair started NPT in 2010 with the aim of applying the same high quality delivery he had experienced in the management development sector to first aid and workplace training. He has been involved in the design and delivery of training programmes and events for a wide range of organisations including; Nissan, Unipres, Accenture, Glaxo Smithkline, Argos, London Underground, Astra Zeneca, Ineos, Northern Rock and Builders Centre.
He has been a qualified first aider for approximately 22 years. He has been a rescue team member for 21 years and is currently medical officer for Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit (COMRU), a technical rescue unit in Cumbria specialising in underground rescue and casualty care.
Joanna deals with enquiries to the NPT office when the trainers are otherwise engaged delivering training or meeting clients.
She is also largely responsible for inputting candidate data to generate certificates and training records for our clients.
